Strawberry-Orange Muffins

1 1/4 cups halved strawberries
3 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. grated orange rind
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 400. Combine first four ingredients in a blender and process until blended. Combine dry ingredients. Stir strawberry mixture into dry ingredients. Spoon batter into 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle with 2 tsp. sugar. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.

is it best to use fresh strawberries, or do frozen work. you can just respond in here if you want to, I will get your response that you write.
